Helen is a Freelance professional and as such, the terms under which bookings are made may differ from previous experiences you have had with salons.
In proceeding with a booking you agree to the following:
BOOKINGS
To make a booking, you will first need to set up a profile using secure software byTimely.
CREDIT/DEBIT CARD GUARANTEE
Operating as a freelance professional, Helen has a limited number of appointments available each week and your service time will be specially reserved for you.
To guarantee your booking, a 50% deposit is required in accordance with a strict 48 hour cancellation policy.
Card capture is used to take details of the card you would like to make your balancing payment with so that at the end of your appointment, cardless checkout can be used to complete the sale.
Timely is compliant with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS) as a Level 1 Service Provider and a Level 3 Merchant (PCI DSS v3.2.1, SAQ A)
Compliance is regularly reviewed, including third party providers
EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) compliant
Australian Security Standard for Add-on Marketplaces compliant
NOTES ON HAIR COLOUR
As a professional Artist, Helen puts your safety first.
Allergies although rare, can occur unexpectedly and develop over a period of time so it is possible that you could suffer an allergic reaction even if you have not had one in the past.
New colour clients must visit the salon for a consultation at least 72 hours (but no more than 7 days) before a colouring appointment can take place.
This will give you an opportunity to discuss your colour history, talk about what you would like to achieve, undergo an allergy alert test (AAT) and any other necessary testing so you’ll be all set to proceed safely.
An AAT is mandatory, even if you have had your hair coloured before by another salon or at home by yourself. Please allow 45 minutes to complete the test.
Colour Consultation
Colour consultation fees are £15 and must be pre-paid in full at the time of booking. This amount may then be redeemed from the hair colour appointment if you wish to proceed.
Same day cancellations or failure to show to a consultation will result in the £15 becoming forfeited, no refunds will be issued.

Existing colour clients must be re-tested every 12 months or sooner if it’s been 6 months or more since your last colour.
Colouring services can not be carried out on anyone under the age of 16.
Helen uses Wella Professional hair colour.
FACIAL MASSAGE BOOKINGS - POP-UP SPECIAL TERMS
Due to the pop-up nature of these events, there are different terms attached.
Please take a moment to familiarise yourself with the details.
All bookings are made in acceptance of the following:
Facial bookings cannot be made online. To make an appointment, please contact Helen directly here with your preferred date and time.
A payment link will then be sent to you equal, to 50% of the treatment cost.
£25 non-refundable/non-transferable security deposit
£30 advance service deposit
If you keep to your original date and time:
All of the pre-paid amount counts towards the final balance (the remaining £55 is due on completion of service)
If you need to cancel or change your original date and time:
With 48 hours notice or more: £25 will be automatically forfeited, £30 will be credited to your account
With less than 48 hours: The whole deposit sum of £55 will be automatically forfeited. No refunds or credits will be issued.
All new bookings will require a new payment link. Credit can only be used to settle outstanding balance.
HAIR BOOKINGS CANCELLATION/RESCHEDULING POLICY
For all hair bookings, 48 hours notice or more is required for any changes or cancellations.
Less than 48 hours notice and the 50% deposit will be forfeited. No refunds or credits will be issued.
If you are using a gift voucher as payment any amount owed will be deducted from the voucher value.
ETIQUETTE
Please make every effort to arrive on time for your appointment.
Schedules run to strict allotted appointment times, If you arrive late, your services will need to be adjusted to fit within the available appointment time remaining so as not to inconvenience the next client.
PAYMENTS
All payments will be cashless.
There is no card machine available, please ensure that the card you wish to pay with is saved to your Timely account.
Gift Vouchers are available.
PARKING
If you require parking information please contact Helen in advance of your appointment and remember to check how long your services will take - especially if you are having colour.
